To All Our Valued Dental Family Patients,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health. Our communities have been through a lot over the last several months, and we all are looking forward to resuming our lives in a healthy and positive way. While it is clear that many things have changed in our world as we embrace a “new normal,” one message and habit remains the same: Omid Dentals commitment to your oral health, well-being and safety. Here at Omid Dental, located in the City of South Gate, we have taken all precautions to insure your safety during COVID-19. Infection control has long been a top priority, as protecting not only our amazing patients but our cherished staff and team members create a successful environment of trust and positivity.

Our office follows the infection control protocols and recommendations given by the ADA (American Dental Association, the CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). Our team closely follows these entities for protocol advancements so that we bring you the most up to date information and guidelines.

Many of you will see some new positive changes during your next appointment, these changes are in place to protect both new and existing patients as well as our staff and team members.

For example: We have put in place a COVID-19 screening questionnaire that will help assess an individual’s risk of having COVID-19. Patients will also be asked to maintain face masks while in the office as this is strictly enforced. Patients are also required to immediately wash hands at our wash station and maintain cleanliness with our provided hand sanitizers throughout the office. All patients are required to take temperature checks upon their arrival and follow the recommended procedures given by our governing agencies. Patients also are given a Hydrogen Peroxide Oral Rinse before treatment to protect aerosols that may be possibly contaminated. Our office is equipped with Plexi-Glass Barriers and an OZONE machine that we operate after hours to kill viral, bacterial and fungal pathogens in the air.

In order to maintain social distancing, appointment times are limited and patients will experience some wait times as we disinfect the operatories in-between patients to maintain proper hygiene for your protection. Patient family members will be asked to remain in their car; parents may stay with their child and ensure their comfort during treatments.

We ask all of our patients to make sure their most up to date phone number are provided so communication is fast, easy and secure. Patients may now communicate with our office via text message as well, 323-569-5000.

Please note, if you have been around anyone that has shown symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 2 weeks, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment until asymptomatic and/or cleared by a physician.

We look forward to seeing our new and existing patients and continuing to provide excellent care in a happy, stress-free and clean dental environment. You may request your appointment right here from our website, contact us.

Thank you for trusting us with your smile and we will take this responsibility to heart as we value your trust in our dental family.

Sincerely,

Omid Dental Family
